La Luna de Miel....My Honey and Me on the Moon

Lucas and I were able to go on an absolutely fabulous honeymoon. We took some friends' advice and spent our first few days just relaxing and laying low. We stayed at a bed and breakfast right on Cayuga Lake that Lucas found. After our days of leisure we boarded a plane to Orlando, Florida, for almost a week in Disney World! Direct flights were a new and splendid concept for us. Hallelujah!! I actually got confused when the man at the airport only handed us each one boarding pass.

I love Disney World and have been there multiple times as a kid with my family. It was Lucas's first time at the World, which made it that much more special for us. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but man did we have a blast! We hit all of the major parks in four days, had countless beautiful and silly moments, and really enjoyed walking around in a magical place as man and wife. (And I didn't get sunburned! Thank you spf 30.) Disney even gave us some "just married" buttons to wear, so everywhere we went the Disney cast members told us "Congratulations!!"

The view from our suite's balcony. The fall colors were perfect!
There was a winding staircase that went right down to the lake.
Lucas skipping stones.
Mr. and Mrs. Lopez hit Disney's Hollywood Studios...
 I didn't do it!!
Ah, a man and his guitar...(Rockin' Rollercoaster actually)
I'm home.
What's that in the sky? It's a bird...a plane...no...
...it's Lucas flying Dumbo! And a great pilot he was.
Buzz Lightyear's Laser Adventure! Best ride ever!!!
Avast ye scallywags!!
Lucas humored me and rode the carousel.
As Snow White, this picture was only appropriate.
Animal Kingdom safari...Dumbo in a different form.
Strings of prayer flags leading up to the rapids ride.

We're home!!!

Hello one and all. Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Needless to say Lucas and I have been busy bees from about mid-September on. In the last 2 months we:

**Made all final preparations for our wedding on October 9th.

**GOT MARRIED!!! Wooohooo!

**Had a fabulous honeymoon!

**Moved all of my earthly possessions over 2,000 miles to our new home in Las Cruces.

Obviously there's a lot to catch up on. I want to wait to blog about the wedding until I have pictures from the  entire day to share. But I will say that the day went off without a hitch! It was exactly what Lucas and I had hoped for: a beautiful and joyful celebration for us and the ones we love. The food was great too! More to come later, but here are a few shots from the ceremony at least.

Oh baby!!!
"I now present to you for the first time, Mr. & Mrs. Lucas Lopez!"

In the next few weeks I'm going to try to post on all of the major events of the past month or so. For now, I will say that Lucas and I arrived safely in Las Cruces on October 24th, and since then we have been taking on unpacking and settling in to life as Mr. & Mrs. So far so good, and I'll give you more of the scoop soon!
